The nativity

The four books do not give a history of the life of Jesus Christ, but only detached anecdotes of him.

The synagogue

Both early and later versions of Wycliffe refer the word kingdom to the word realm. Wycliffe knew Greek and Latin.

The arrest

His arrest shows that he did not intend to be apprehended, and consequently that he did not intend to be crucified.
